King County Snapshots Project - Vintage Photos Tell Comprehensive Story of King County History. November, 2003. After two years of work, twelve King County heritage organizations, including the Eastside Heritage Center (and its former entities, the Marymoor Museum of Eastside History and the Bellevue Historical Society) led by the Museum of History & Industry (MOHAI) and the University of Washington Libraries, have launched a new website that provides unparalleled access to 12,000 historical images of people, places and events in King County, Washington. The site is now available to students, educators, researchers and the general public.
