First Murder on the Eastside - Spring Lecture Series

On the morning of February 8, 1886, James Colman and Wilbur Patten left for Seattle to for the grand jury hearing regarding George Miller.  As his boat rounded the south point of Mercer Island, James and Wilbur were murdered.  This case remains unsolved. 

Join local historian, Tom Hitzroth, for an in-depth discussion of the first homicide on the Eastside.

In compliance with King County public health regulations, people participating in activities at Bellevue community centers, recreation facilities, and environmental education visitor centers are required to show proof of full COVID-19 vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test result.
