Hunts Point
Hunts Point
Hunts Point, on the eastern shore of Lake Washington, has grown from a small community of summer cabins into one of the most desirable neighborhoods in Washington. Once on the periphery of the region, it now sits at the center of a vibrant and exciting metropolis. Two things have remained constant from the time of the first permanent residents, over 100 years ago: a beautiful sylvan setting and a strong sense of identity and community.
This volume traces the history of Hunts Point and describes a way of life that holds long-time residents and attracts new ones. In commissioning this work the Town hopes to deepen the appreciation of what makes this one of Washington’s most unique places to live.
