Volunteer with Us!

The Eastside Heritage Center is a nonprofit organization with a stated mission to steward Eastside history by actively collecting, preserving, and interpreting documents and artifacts, and by also promoting public involvement in and appreciation of this heritage through educational programming and community outreach.

Community participation has always been and continues to be essential to the success of the Eastside Heritage Center. The people of our community have much to offer in the way of historical information, special skills, and willingness to commit to our mission. A contribution of a few hours per month of a person's time has tremendous value.

Looking for something more long-term?

Join our Board of Trustees!

Have you considered board service as a way to give back? If you have an interest in history, museum collections, and are connected to the Eastside, this is a great way to give back to your local community.

Our Board of Trustees meet throughout the year to oversee the general direction and health of the organization. We discuss ways we can further our mission and vision here on the Eastside and find ways that we can keep our community centered in everything we do. Everyone brings a different perspective, and it’s a perfect way for them to share their unique skills and their passion for history.

Feel free to reach out if interested, or if you have any questions. Please include a resume and a short explanation of your ties to the Eastside and why you’re considering a board position. (Director@EastsideHeritageCenter.org)
