Join EHC in attending the Grand Opening of Meydenbauer Bay Park! Eastside Heritage Center worked closely with Bellevue Parks to develop the interpretive signage and photographs used in the park, especially relating to the Whaling House.
“Celebrate the new and improved Meydenbauer Bay Park! Features of the new park include a large public swimming beach and swimming platform; a 400-foot-long pedestrian pier; walkways and overlooks; a new beach house featuring restrooms, changing rooms, and a lifeguard station; children’s playground area; and seasonal canoes, kayaks and stand-up paddle board rentals. From your picnic blanket on plateaus nestled into the slope of the park, take a look back at the city’s skyscrapers to remind yourself that yes, you’re still in Downtown Bellevue!
Ribbon cutting at 11 am, followed by live music, activities and food.” - Bellevue Downtown Association
