History Hands-on! at Medina Day

  • 7789 Northeast 12th Street Medina, WA, 98039 United States (map)

Eastside Heritage Center will be at Medina Day this year! We will have a variety of hands-on activities for kids and adults.

  • What is it? - Test your knowledge of historical objects and learn about gadgets from the past.

  • Daisy - Little ones can try “milking” Daisy Belle, our wooden cow. (It’s only water)

  • Flying fish - create a flying fish kite and learn about the history of the Japanese community in Bellevue.

  • Knot tying - Learn how to tie a variety of nautical knots from our EHC Volunteer Mike Luis.

For those who would prefer a hands-off experience, we’ll have grab-and-go activities available upon request.

Hand sanitizer will be available for use. We will be complying with Washington State guidelines regarding masks and distancing.
